Where it all started.
On 10 November 1775 the Continental Congress raised two battalions of Marines, and tradition says the first recruits signed up at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, under the sign of a barrel. Every Marine birthday since traces back to that room.
Front: a small 1775 and 10 NOV on the left chest. Back: a tavern-sign design with TUN TAVERN arched over the barrel, EST. 10 NOV 1775, WHERE IT ALL STARTED and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARINE.
Wear it to the ball, the bar or the office on the 10th. A gift any Marine, active or veteran, will get right away. Order by early November for delivery before the birthday.

Fit, fabric & care
Blank: 100% ringspun cotton tee (4.2–5.3 oz depending on the design; the exact blank is named in the description). Soft hand, holds its shape, built for daily wear.
Fit: unisex retail fit, true to size. Between sizes? Size up.
Print: direct-to-garment ink that sits in the fabric instead of on top of it. No cracking plastic feel.
Inside the collar: the gold Mil Apparel label is printed straight onto the fabric. No scratchy tag.
Care: wash cold inside out, tumble dry low. Do not iron the print.

Made to order, shipped from the USA. Every piece is printed when you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse. Production takes 2–5 business days, then 3–7 business days in transit.
Free standard shipping on U.S. orders of $50 or more. Flat $4.95 under $50. Express is $15. We ship to all 50 states and to APO, FPO and DPO addresses at domestic rates.
