1. No government affiliation or endorsement
Mil Apparel is a privately owned, veteran-operated business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the United States Department of War (also known by its statutory name, the Department of Defense). The same applies to the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Guard, the Reserve components, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and any command, unit, school, or agency of the U.S. government. Nothing on this site, in our products, or in our marketing is an official government communication. Nothing here should be read as endorsement by any federal entity, and no official endorsement is expressed or implied.
2. Trademarks, names, and insignia
Branch names, mottos, unit names, aircraft and equipment names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Our designs are original artistic works that we draw in-house. They celebrate military culture; they are not reproductions of official seals, emblems, badges, or insignia. We are not affiliated with any aircraft, vehicle, or equipment manufacturer. If you own rights in a mark or design and believe we've used it improperly, email support@milapparel.com and we'll review it promptly.
3. Not uniform items; no claim of service
Our products are commemorative and casual apparel and accessories. They are not official military-issue items, are not regulation uniform items, and are not authorized for wear with any military uniform. Owning or wearing our products does not indicate, certify, or represent military service, rank, qualification, tab, badge, or award. Customers must not use our products to misrepresent military service or decorations. Federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 702 and § 704, restricts unauthorized uniform wear and fraudulent claims about military decorations.
4. Imagery
People shown on this site and in our ads may be professional models, actors, or digitally created or enhanced likenesses. They are not necessarily current or former service members. Depictions of aircraft, vehicles, equipment, settings, or people are illustrative and do not imply endorsement by any person, unit, manufacturer, or government entity.
5. Humor and expression
Some designs use military humor, slang, or satire. They're meant to honor the people who serve, in the voice of people who served. They are expressive works, not statements by or about any government agency, and they don't represent the views of any branch.
6. Military and first-responder discount
Our discount programs, including SERVED10, are offered privately by Mil Apparel. They are not a government benefit and are not sponsored by any agency. We may change, verify, or end them at any time.
7. "Veteran-owned"
"Veteran-owned and operated" means the company was founded by, and is run by, a U.S. military veteran. It is not a certification issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the SBA, or any other agency.
8. Product use
Products are provided as described in our Terms of Service, including its warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability. Follow the care and use instructions. Insulated drinkware can hold hot liquids at scalding temperatures, so open it with care and keep it away from children. Colors and print placement may vary slightly from the photos.
